The program implies specifically ADDRESSED assistance depending on the needs of those who apply. The goal of the program is to help the most vulnerable residents of Odessa and the Odessa region: pregnant women, large families, single mothers and their children, orphans, the elderly, the disabled, refugees and temporary migrants, and those people and families who happen to be in a difficult life situation.

     Targeted humanitarian aid is not always money. Humanitarian aid more often reaches recipients as the things they need most of all, such as clothing, medicines, construction materials, individual medical equipment (often for the disabled and people with disabilities). Even such simple and affordable items as diapers, walkers, and cribs can also relieve the financial strain on low-income families.

     The goal of the program is to help “here and now” all people in difficult circumstances without exception being helpful where it is especially needed. As part of the treatment Individual assistance is provided for payment for complex surgeries, medical procedures, drug therapy, supporting complicated pregnancies, assisting critically ill and wounded children, assistance to victims in a military conflict zone.

Project GOAL

• Unfortunately today in Ukraine there is such a scale of humanitarian crisis that we can’t help to solve all the urgent problems with the efforts of our foundation alone. Therefore the humanitarian staff works in clearly defined directions trying to render the help systematically, point by point, carefully weighing the vital necessity in each separate case.
• The focus of our work is on the interests of people. The main task is to provide as effective assistance as possible to all those in need (primarily the elderly, disabled, and children).
• In their work the project participants are guided by clear principles and transparent procedures appropriating the highest international standards of work in the humanitarian sphere. All decisions of the headquarters are carefully weighed and correspond to the goals and tasks of the foundation and the volunteer movement.
• The work of headquarters is based on interaction with humanitarian partners sharing the principles and values of headquarters. The foundation’s decisions are not influenced by commercial or governmental organizations. No one can influence decision-making if it goes against the above principles.
• The work of the project is independent of politics and politicians. The headquarters provides assistance to all in need, regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, standard of living, or other parameters.
• The main task is not only to accurately formulate the requests of those who apply, but also to achieve the most effective assistance in each individual case (as far as possible, of course).
